About Patrick
In order to engage students, I use humor and relate topics from the past to experiences we have today. I focus on student based learning with my guidance in order to achieve a level of success unique to every student.
I call it the "lightbulb effect": When a student understands the content of the lesson and the information clicks, my students light up with passion for history! Even though I am a teacher, I am still learning as well, and I love to pass on my knowledge.
I am currently a high school Social Studies teacher, having taught GLobal History I and U.S History and Government. I have a masters degree in History, and I am always learning new techniques to educate not only the youth of the world, but myself as well!
