I understand that no two students learn exactly the same, so I like to spend a session or two getting to know each individual's learning process. The most important thing to me is open, honest communication - they can tell me what they like and don't like, and I can play off of that.
I have mostly worked with young children ages 8-11, but I have some experience with high schoolers.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Instead of considering what is the easiest way out, I want to encourage all students to think about what will challenge them to become their best selves and gain the most from their experiences.
