About William
I am a degreed historian who holds a Masters in Teaching. I am also a Louisiana state certified teacher with a great deal of experience teaching socio economically challenged children, and children with learning challenges. While social studies is my passion, I can also assist with ELA, reading comprehension, and study skills.
My students! I get ecstatic when I see my students understand the ideas and concepts that I am presenting to them. Its what drives me as a professional, and as a person. Education doesnt have to be dull. It should be exciting, and it should inspire critical thinking and imagination.
Ashford University - 2011. BA- History Graduated with a 3.49 GPA

I want to build a rapport with all of my students, and learn from them what learning style they possess. I will also ask for writing examples, and to speak with the parent(s) to discuss what learning challenges they perceive.
Another thing that I like to do is to make the educational process exciting! I want my student to take ownership of their educational process, and lets discover new ways for them to learn!
