About Kristen
I am a well rounded individual with a lot to offer. I started reading history books at the age of eight and never stopped. In fact that is all I read! In Middle school I was chosen for an award because I was a history buff. I also practice languages as well. I will help students by bringing an engaging side to history.
I am currently a Special Education teacher and have been for three years but I have an endorsement in Elementary education. I also will have an endorsement is social studies and history education in May. I am finally following my passion.
I have always wanted to teach since I was little. I hold and will hold various licenses because I love school and I love learning.
I am well versed in history as I have been reading/do research since I was eight. My favorite periods of history is Imperial Russia 1613-1918, German history 1700s-1945, Charles XII, Napoleonic wars, Ww1, ww2, titanic, parts of American history such as the civil war and the revolutionary war.

First I will look at what you are struggling with. It is important for me to gain a knowledge of what I need to work with you on. I will then present many different ways of looking at the question. My training as a Special Education teacher helps me with this. I will present an engaging view of the topic- I already have notebooks with ideas on history methods!
I have worked with all kinds of students- about every grade level- and I have worked with adults to get their GED.
