At the beginning of the session, I start by asking the students what are they're main concerns or questions for the week. As this question will rollover to the end of the session; I will ask once again to write any questions they have for the week or until the next scheduled session. Then we can create an outline of what needs to be worked on. If writing an essay we break down the assignment into fragments.
