About Robert
I have over twenty years of experience as a social sciences instructor at age groups ranging from middle school through college. I have graduate degrees, from top universities, in education, history, and political science. I am also strong in the history of philosophy. Many references available on request. My rate is $50 per hour and is not negotiable.
I began teaching in 2002 as a community college instructor of history. I have taught in several environments since, not wanting to teach in the public school system. I have been a small group teacher in homeschool coops, I have worked several long term assignments with home-bound teens who have serious emotional-behavioral disabilities and I have been a high school social studies teacher at a private school.

I work online. If you are within ten miles of Manchester, NH I will consider travelling to you. For the first session, I like to learn as much as I can about my new student by breaking the ice and doing some activities which enable me to learn the student's level of knowledge in the relevant subjects.
I currently work with students from age 12 through adult, who have a good work ethic and need support for some reason. I work well with gifted people who need an extra challenge. I work with students with special challenges but I am NOT equipped to work with students with autism, severe behavioral challenges, or ADHD.
