About Samantha
Teaching younger generations the complex stories and workings of society throughout the world is an essential job I am passionate about. I have been in Education for 2 years and I teach under-served urban youth High School History in all subjects related (U.S., World, Social Science, African American, Civics) at a high school in Philadelphia. I am a highly-qualified teacher with History Certifications in PA and CT. I also am on the School Improvement committee at the high school where I teach because I am adamant about cirriculum that puts the student's first. High engagement and relevance to life today are characteristics of my lessons.
I have a Bachelors degree in Sociology and History and a Masters in the Art of Teaching. I also have multiple certificates in online education, for example I am a Google Certified Teacher.
