About Justin
Tutoring by Justin is a history and English focused tutoring service. Justin offers tutoring in a wide array of historical subjects. He also offers pre law tutoring and tutoring for collegiate level criminal justice students.
I enjoy seeing a student gain confidence in themselves once they have grasped a concept.
I started providing private tutoring to extended family about two years ago.
I have BA in History. Ancient Mesopotamian history and American history are my strongest areas. I also hold a BS in Criminal Justice. My strongest areas in that field have more to do with pre law. I am also well versed in political science since both of these degrees require a solid understanding of political and government procedures.

Learning styles are important to me. Figuring out what learning style is most successful for a student is key to a successful tutoring experience.
I have worked mainly with extended family and their friends who come from impoverished backgrounds. I am no stranger to systemic issues being an obstacle.
Be ready to commit and be attentive.
One of my students recently graduated from her school as valedictorian.
