About Hamilton
Hello, I am a current student at the United States Military Academy pursuing a Bachelor of Science in International History. While away from school this year I am working as an educator at the Atlanta history center where I give in-person and online tours on our rotating exhibits to students throughout the Greater Atlanta region.
I understand the demands of being a student while also juggling various other responsibilities and can help students feel less overwhelmed. By having a background in a stressful environment I can help students with time management and show them how to maximize their time and effectively plan their schedules; all while grasping course content with ease.
The beauty of being an educator is helping provide students with a different perspective on topics they might normally shy away from. While also being a student myself I find that some instructors are less familiar with today's youth and are unable to portray content in a way that is humorous and entertaining. By incorporating pop culture references and modern-day events into my tutoring it deconstructs the formal approach most take towards school and for me, it makes tutoring an extremely enjoyable task.
