About Elizabeth
I am a current student at Bryn Mawr College majoring in political science with a focus on comparative politics and international relations. Studying in these subfields means that I have to learn the history of various countries very quickly in order to succeed in these classes. The skills I learn to study country cases are applicable in most social studies and history classes.
I have plenty of experience writing as a student and have also written professionally. I can ensure that you or your child understand the basic rules of style, grammar, and research in order to construct quality written assignments.

The most important first step for any new student is to set goals. For some students and parents, they simply want to pass a class or get a good grade. Others plan on taking similar classes in the future or majoring in the subject. Some skills such as math and writing will be useful throughout your life, regardless of your career path. Identifying your goals an important first step.
From there, I work with students to identify how they learn best. All students will need a mix of techniques to effectively absorb the material, but which techniques are used the most will be heavily influenced by the subject and the student's individual needs.
