About Heather
We love helping people reach their goals while deepening their love and understanding of horses. We help students at any level advance their skills and techniques for optimum communication between horse and rider. Visit our website at HJSporthorses.com to learn more!
The head trainer, Jordan Matrisian, has been immersed in the show jumping world from the age of two. She has since competed in all types of shows from schooling shows through international 3* shows with much success. The farm owner, Heather Hurwitt, has been in the horse world in one capacity or another for over 35 years. She has been a dressage competitor although now is mainly just barn owner and manager.

We start out working one on one on the lunge line in individual lessons but ultimately progress to group lessons where there is a shared sense of camaraderie and encouragement.
