About Kathleen

I work with both english and western style riders and horses. I can help you with your horse or you can come ride one of mine. My training is aimed to develop a safe well mannered horse that does their job, and give the rider the skills they need to accomplish their equestrian goals.

I enjoy working with horses and people. I like to see people bond with their horse and develop skills to communicate and safely ride their equine friends.

I have a great amount of understanding for equine soundness, developing their gaits, and understanding their temperments.

Somehting I have been asked to do as a young adult. I have always been very successful with performance hosrses and therefore people inquire about training their horse or having me help them with their horse.

I have been horse training, horse showing, working with riders for over 30 years. I also breed performance horses, buy and sell horses, and lease horses.

First I will ask about their past experience with horses. What their goals are or what their are trying to accomplish as an equestrian.

I have worked with english riders. This includes english pleasure riding, hunter/jumpers, and dressage (training dressage, not showing).

I have also worked with western pleasure horses, schooled working cow, and ranch horses.

Looking to hire a riding instructor or horse training? Let them know what your goals are or what you are struggling with. Be up front with why you are looking for equestrian instruction.

A recent event out here at my farm is the addition of 2 new foals! Both are healthy fillies. I am looking forward to seeing them develop.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
In order to progress as an equestrian you need to have access to a decent equestrain facility. This might mean you travel to my facility, or you move your horse to another facility.

I am fully insured so I can provide this coverage to other facilities if needed.
