About Paul
We offer separate adult's and children's aikido classes. Following the Iwama tradition we incorporate weapons as well as empty hand techniques. Aikido is not about strenght, rather it redirects an aggressors momentum to resolve confrontations. Our aikido staff is led by a yondan (4th degree black belt) 30-years of experience! Thriteen aikido classes are scheduled each week.
We are also proud to offer the only Kyokushin Karate program in Albuquerque. Kyokushin Karate classes meet twice a week.
Tai chi lessons are available twice a week during daytime hours.
Aikido members may partake in as many classes in all three disciplines as they wish. Karate and tai chi only members receive a reduced tuition rate.

We pay special attention to new students, walking them through the etiquette, warm up exercises, and in particular the rolling. All current students are expected to work within the limits of their training partners to avoid overwhelming or injuring new and existing memebers.
