About John
The number one reason why I want to teach what I know is because seeing that smile and that sense of self accomplishment in a students face is priceless. I'm able to hold pads for beginners and advanced people, and can help make you feel confident in using your own body as a weapon. We live in a very interesting time and self defense has become a requirement to many.
I have been training Muay Thai for a little over 10 years now. It all started as a senior high school project and just became a lifelong journey. I wanted to prove to myself that I could fight under those bright lights too.
I have trained in Thailand and have competed in amateur fights and hope to go pro one day.
So wether you're looking for an afternoon workout, or a way to feel confident in protecting yourself, or hope to one day compete under those bright lights too, I can help you along the way!

To be honest it kinda just fell in my lap from other friends asking if I could hold pads for them. Then at my original gym I was asked to cover a couple classes. I'm forever a student and will never forget that about my journey.

Technique is a huge part of Muay Thai so the number one thing I like to start off with is that. Making sure the student is 100% balanced at all times. I'm a firm believer of the basics so we will go through them over and over again. Muay Thai is all about repetition so we will go over basics over and over again until student feels comfortable.
As for advanced/intermediate students, I'm able to freestyle hold pads or have certain subjects we can work on.
I have worked with beginners to advanced. I've Trained with people in the amateurs to actual pros in big organizations.
I always wondered to myself "what if?". As in what if I tried Muay Thai and what if I was one day on a fight poster? I didn't want to live my life without answering my "what if?" So go out there and answer your WHAT IF?!?!
