About Courtney

I have been tutoring students for over 5 years in law school subjects and in preparation for the bar exam. I graduated in the top 10% of my law school class at Golden Gate University School of Law. I went on to pass the California Bar Exam on my first attempt.

I am now a practicing attorney specializing in real estate litigation.

I got started teaching while in law school. I was a teaching assistant for two different professors in law school, and found I had a passion for helping students. I really enjoyed being able to work through practice problems with them and see how they improved over the course of our time working together.

About the lesson

I first like to talk with a student on the phone for 10-15 minutes before we meet for our initial lesson. This allows for both of us to ask questions to ensure we are the best fit for each other. This also allows for me to ensure that I am the best tutor for the student in that I have the knowledge to help them with the questions they have.
