About Margeaux
Hello! I am a former educator, but more specifically and English/Language Arts teacher for grades 7-8. I taught reading and writing to 7th and 8th graders for 12 years! Before that I earned my Master’s Degree in Education with a focus on English/Language Arts for grades 7-12. Before that I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in English and Communications. Believe it or not, I am currently sailing around the world with my family. About 3 years ago I left my job as a public school educator to chase my dream of sailing around the world. So far we have sailed from Maine all the way to New Zealand! Along the way I have been homeschooling my two children who are now in 4th and 2nd grade. While homeschooling has been great, it has not fulfilled my role in helping other students. To be honest, I miss my role in the classroom supporting students with whatever their needs may be at that moment. I am excited to utilize my skills and life experience to help YOU! I believe my positive attitude, my efficiency and experiences will help you meet your goals whatever they may be. I look forward to working with you, and I appreciate any feedback you can give me to make me a better educator and tutor for the future.
