About Jennifer
Hi my name Jennifer! I have previously volunteers at an elementary school and assisted with helping children we were having difficulty. I enjoy helping elementary school age children with reading and writing. I was born with cerebral palsy. And I use my power chair for my mobility. I believe it is important to show children that people/ children with disabilities are able to participate, and want to be included in all of life's activities just as much, or maybe a little more, then those without disabilities. I would prefer to conduct any tutoring jobs online, or locally where I live. I live in durham, North Carolina. I am very patient with any student who is having difficulty with reading and writing. Because I experienced similar difficulties growing up. I started school late as a child. But, my physical disability and learning challenges did not stop me from becoming the person that I am today. And I hope to help children in the same or similar situations and show them that they can do anything, no matter what life gives them
