About Jamie
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker working for a non profit program providing therapy and behavioral services to elementary school children at school. Much of my time is spent helping students with their academic work while helping build their self esteem and confidence. I have a bachelor's degree in Sociology and Psychology and a Master's degree in Social Work. I have worked with children in some capacity for the past 20 years, including as a substitute teacher while obtaining my master's degree. I enjoy getting to know each individual child, their learning style, and their goals. Watching a child learn a new concept and gain confidence is one of the greatest gifts we can recieve. I am patient, understanding and compassionate.
