About
I've recently graduated from New Mexico State University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, and I have years of experience in reading, writing, and literature ranging from more casual subjects (such as novels/storybooks) to academic research papers, articles, and research proposals. I have experience working with school-aged children (varying from ages 3 to 18 years and older), and I believe in enthusiasm and going at the pace a child needs in order to best help them learn and retain new information. I welcome and encourage feedback from parents/guardians, as well as collaboration on goals for a young student's success. I believe in teaching in a manner that frames learning as a new and exciting adventure, and that they will retain skills to be confident in their abilities in the future.
