About
Are you looking for a fresh take on the English language or simply for summer drills to ready you for college exams? Well, then I am the tutor for you!
I am about to enter my tenth in teaching, and my third year as an ELA college prep English teacher. I have taught honors, regular, and lower 10-12th English classes, as well as spent time teaching middle school English. I am also currently working on my Masters of Science in Education with an emphasis on ELA. I am passionate about literacy, writing and critical thinking skills. I think grammar is the key to understanding communication on an interpersonal and professional level and ensure my students have the opportunity master it. The best part of including me on your learning team is that you will have fun while learning! I use word games, quick mental exercises, and relevant cultural examples to create an engaging learning environment. Retention is key when it comes to tutoring so we will use paper and pencil as much as possible.
Are you ready to become a grammarian? If so contact me to set up your first session!
