About Shelby
Hello! My name is Shelby West. I have been working and currently work with special needs students between grades K - 5th, and have been tutoring students in this field for over four years.
I believe that each student has a unique learning style, and my approach to tutoring is personalized and adaptive. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment, where students feel comfortable to ask questions and explore new concepts. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to instill a love of learning and a deeper understanding of the subject matter.
I specialize in tutoring Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies, and have had great success with my students, many of whom have improved their grades significantly. I look forward to working with you!
