About Kyle
Hi!
I’m Kyle. I’ve been a professional journalist for a little over 10 years—mostly covering politics and culture for outlets like VICE, The Hollywood Reporter, and Inside Sacramento.
I went to UCLA for undergrad, studying English literature. In high school, I took AP English lit and language and got a 5 on both exams. But I don’t think I would’ve accomplished that without the right teachers and mentors. In fact, I doubt I would’ve made a career out of writing if it weren’t for them fostering my skills and teaching me lessons that really opened my eyes in a way you can’t replicate by memorizing textbooks and novels.
I’d welcome the opportunity to be your tutor because I firmly believe I can do more than correct grammar and fix punctuation in your essays; I can help you better understand the broader value of reading comprehension, how important it is to be an effective communicator no matter your career path, and discover the rewarding feeling that comes with a piece of writing that truly represents your perspective, creativity, and potential.
Let’s talk!
