About Manaal
I recently graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Neuroscience, Civic Interfaith Studies and from the Baylor Interdisciplinary Core program (BIC). I will be attending medical school in the fall. Throughout my career I have had a balance of STEM and liberal arts education, being heavily involved in research writing, grant writing, and argumentative essay writing through the BIC program. I’ve had a passion for making education accessible and often volunteered at the Mayborn museum, mentoring kids throughout the summer. I have worked with students 6-20, and teaching is my life long goal beyond medical school!
I have experience being a teaching assistant, peer reviewer, research coordinator, and love working with students personally and professionally to see them become the best versions of themselves. I welcome feedback and am enthusiastic about my students! My goal is not only for my students and families to see results but also to be excited about learning and feel confident about their abilities!
