About Kimberlyn
I am a recent graduate of Wayne State University; I majored in biology and minored in chemistry. I am planning to continue my education and go on to graduate school to get my doctorate of pharmacy. During that time, I was a peer mentor - a paid position - working with first-year students on campus. I tutored both in high school and college. For the latter, it was another paid position to tutor introductory chemistry, and for the former it was a voluntary position to tutor all subjects. With a combined total of six years of student leadership, I have been equipped with the skills and knowledge of how to best aid others both academically and personally. Over this time, I have also acquired multiple ways to approach different topics and subjects. This is helpful since everyone comes from differing backgrounds and can benefit from seeing a subject from new angles. Working with students and peers has truly been the highlight of my schooling career thus far.
