About Corey
Being a college student with more than 5+ years of tutoring experience, the art of English & writing is still exhilarating in my world. I have a degree in English from Hinds Community College, also owning a license in English tutoring and having the ability to work in writing centers. I originally started tutoring college students (since I was a student and getting my certification at the same). However, since then I have tutored all ages from K-12. My main goal is to understand each individual, process what works best for time, and utilize strategies that’ll make tutoring enjoyable and rewarding. The student always come first. Whatever patterns work best for their learning style, will be utilized. All suggestions, approaches & directions are welcomed and encouraged to help a smooth process. Not only am I tutoring to help out those in need, while also being creative in my approach, but I’m also tutoring to reinforce and restructure my love for writing, English and being engaged through the lens of exploration.
