About Kaitlin
I believe that my unmatched passion for education and my work experience in the early childhood, elementary, and special education settings, make me the ideal tutor for any student! I am an enthusiastic educator with a Masters of Ed in Literacy, Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Special Education, and three years of classroom teaching under my belt. I am a first grade teacher in TX. This will be my third year teaching first grade, but prior to this position I was a fourth grade special education teacher in Boston, MA. My understanding of educational theories and evidence-based practices, specifically pertaining to literacy instruction and special education, goes well beyond that of a typical general educator and I always seek to support students in developing their confidence, finding their passions, and reaching their fullest potential. My greatest passion as an educator is teaching young elementary students how to read and write!
