About Bethania
At Zoomies Tutoring, based in Winston-Salem, NC, I specialize in elevating students' reading and writing skills through personalized and engaging tutoring sessions. With expertise in literature, my focus is to inspire a love for learning while helping students achieve tangible academic results. Whether your child needs to enhance their literacy skills or seeks a deeper understanding of literature, I tailor my approach to meet each student's individual needs and goals. Let me help your child gain confidence and excel in their educational journey. 3 years of experience as a substitute teacher in all grades in elementary. 11 years experience with children with ADHD and autism. 30 plus years experience writing and performing poetry as well as songwriting and singing, I am no stranger to language arts. I believe every child is different and can't be put in the same box! I bring a combination of success and fun to my teaching style! Your child will not only learn but we will have fun and be goofy! I believe if they don't enjoy reading, they have not found the right book yet! I aspire to help children love reading and writing and have many book recommendations to share! I guarantee your child will leave my sessions enjoying learning and excited to read and write! I believe disabilities your child may have such as ADHD or autism can be their strengths. I excel in helping to focus coping skills and strengths from these "disabilities," which others see as weaknesses! I have helped overcome these labels with my own child with success, and I can help yours also!!
