Authentic training fueled by passion and perseverance. I help students like you to set clear goals, as well as how to use martial arts training to improve the quality of your life and health.

I enjoy working with all types of students. The growth and progress of students keeps me passionate about teaching, and motivated to continue improving myself.

By helping other students in my first martial arts school, the head instructor noticed my passion & kindness and had asked me to help run group classes, and eventually the whole studio.

I have studied martial arts for over 20 years, including 3 recent years in China. Having learned from a variety of teachers in various arts, I can adjust the teaching style and program to match a student's needs. I travel to see my primary teacher every 6 months and continue to learn and train myself regularly, as I believe all teachers should continue growing themselves.

About the lesson

The curriculum can change from student to student depending on their goals and desired time of study. After learning the goals and an initial evaluation, I develop a step by step program.

Ask lots of questions. The best teachers will listen and ask their own questions, not just talk about themselves. Once an instructor has an understanding about you & what you want, they should be able to provide a roadmap to get you to your goals.
