About Lawrence
I teach only private lessons. I will customize curriculum for the client. Children to adult, men and women. I can give cerification as well. Plus I can travel to you if needed.
I have over 40 years experience in Martial Arts and it's been in my family for generations. I love what I do and teach with passion. I have trained many national champions from kids to adults. I have trained law enforcement and government agents. I have worked with "women only" self defense classes as well. I will give you my best so I can get the best out of you and make you reach your full potential.
I started learning at a young age from my father and my uncles. Martial arts has been in my family for generations. I then studied under many great Grandmasters in different martial arts as well.
Over 40 years experience in martial arts - Taekwondo, Kickboxing, Hapkido, Kumdo, women self defense, defensive tactics for law enforcement and government agents, meditation,etc. For more information, I can send you my professional career resume.

Meet first and discuss what type of martial arts program they would like to learn and then make private schedule
I worked with kids to adults and have trained many State and National champions. I have worked specifically with all "women only" self defense classes and seminars as well. I have worked with many law enforcement and government agents. I can privately train CEO's and high profile clients in their homes as well. Also, full contact Kickboxing and boxing students. Whatever the students wants, I can customize the program for them.
Please do research on your teacher and then meet with them to make sure you know what to expect from each other. Maybe ask to see one of the teachers classes to see how they teach. Look for a teacher that still has passion about teaching.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Ask about what type of martial arts you want to learn. Some kids may just want confidence and discipline. Some people want to just exercise and lose weight. Some people want to compete professionally. Some people want full contact fighting. Some women may want street self defense. Usually, if the teacher is good at what he does, you can get all of these. Just feel comfortable and ask whatever comes to your mind and what you want out of your training.

Master Chang instructs both my 11 year old boy and 6 year old girl. My kids have advanced quickly using the right form and technique because of his attention to detail and precision. Both gained a lot of confidence due to his constructive feedback and positive reinforcement. I highly recommend it!
My kids 10 & 12 started Private TKD lessons with Master Chang when the studios closed from Covid-19. It has been almost a year and they have much improved in speed, technique, and strengthen their sparing game. Master Chang is expert at training and helping students to reach their full potential. Grandmaster Chang is a great teacher and breaks down everything in detail and focuses on a strong foundation so your techniques are clean. He is very knowledgeable in various martial arts and I am so glad I met him. I have lost 15 pounds so far and I am stronger and more flexible as well.
The one on one instruction with Grandmaster Chang is an opportunity that you must take advantage of. My daughter and son have learned more in the 6 months with Master Chang than years at your average public martial arts schools where you learn from 'student black belts' barely old enough to drive. I can confidently say my children have solid foundation to build upon as they progress through their journey. Highly Recommend, You Will Not Be Disappointed. If you want the highest quality results and want your children to become true martial artists then contact Master Chang, if you really don't care about the quality of education and need a place for your kids to run around and stay out of your hair for a couple hours then this is not the place for you.
