About Rebecca
I am passionate about mathematics and believe since I have been exposed to mathematics in a variety of professional and educational capacities im able to teach and understand where students struggle the most. In my sessions I am to make learning new and difficult concepts fun, because math should be fun.
I think math is a very fun hands-on topic that everyone can enjoy, I like to show students how seemingly complex topics can be broken down. Providing visual aids through Desmos and wolfram alpha are also great tools that are underutilized by teachers. These tools allow students to see mathematics in a different medium, allowing the problems to become interactive and fun. I like showing students how to solve problems assigned in homework, but I want to give students the tools to solve problems without me there, so they are able to think more clearly under testing conditions and elsewhere.
