About Cionna
With six years of engineering education, I have learned and excelled in math (basic math through differential equations). I love teaching math and helping students understand in a way that works best for them. I bring patience and enthusiasm to help students build their math confidence!
I enjoy watching as students solve problems and become more confident in their skills. Many who struggle with math believe that they just won't ever get the hang of it. However, more often than not, many just haven't learned math in a was that makes sense to them.
I started teaching in high school when I would help other students in my class better understand math.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Science in Bioengineering.

I like to start by first learning more about the student and their current relationship with math. After truly understanding their difficulties and the type of learner they are, I then structure my teaching style to provide the best tutoring for them.
