About Conner
Our mix of students currently in college range from engineering students, two economics students at Yale University, and a magna cum laude in cell biology & neuroscience that is attending either the University of Michigan Law School or University of Florida Law School (on full ride). Valiant Tutors is a subsidiary of a parent company, GeoValiant, LLC, that we are all operating with the intention to get into large-scale LEED building redevelopment. We are passionate about providing the same unique types of teaching that we all received and unanimously agree it was highly conducive to the success we are finding now. Two of us have tutored elementary students while we were seniors in high school, and we are either highly skilled writers or highly skilled analytical thinkers. Additionally, we are all competent editors and would like to add writing to the mix of any particular subject in which our students are looking to be tutored. From our experience, writing skills are scarce yet in high demand in most businesses looking to hire. Additionally, it is an excellent way to teach young students how to think critically, make and support arguments, be creative, and therefore to thrive in society as they enter and leave college.
We offer tutoring services in math, english, social studies, business & financial literacy, excel, and writing.

After encountering the strategy used by professors at Montana State University, I have evolved to hold high regards for the use of writing to supplement an education in any subject. The majority of assignments in my years at MSU have been essays that force us to think both critically and originally as we build our argumentative capabilities. Through this process, students develop the tools needed to both learn and effectively explain (through verbal and written communication) the topic/subject/idea required. The transferability of this skill outpaces all others. I have communicated with COOs of large banks on Wall Street who have claimed that analytical thinkers who are able to write well are the candidates that will always be chosen first. Not only is the ability to write in high demand in the workforce, but it also provides a framework for students to build their own lens through which they view the world. Developing one's own unique, critical lens remains paramount to all other facets a young individual should focus on building as he obtains an increasing amount of responsibility in society.
