About Alisha

When I have been working with a student continually and then they explain a problem, help a student be successful, or answer a question in class! I live off of those confident smiles the students produces when they are successful!

I have been teaching HS Math for the past 5 years in both Urban and Rural School Districts and lived what both had to offer!

About the lesson

I think it's important to not only get to know the student and their interest but to also know how they learn best!

All student of every races, economical background and ability. I taught for two years in an urban school where the majors was black students ( I only left because I moved states for personal reasons). I then have been teaching for three years in an extremely rural area. I also have a masters in Special education and currently teach a two year CTI ( co-taught) Algebra class.

$30 an hour, I will expand and build the foundation for them to be successful on the topics they are struggling with. I will not strictly do theirs HW with them but will help on question they struggle with.
