About Sylvia
I am a very patient person. Learning from experience, students often need time to help them understand their materials. It cannot be rushed. I have a strong passion for math. In high school, I have taken multiple AP math classes and excelled in all of them easily. My passion is to make sure my students can succeed easily and in a nonstressful way.
I enjoy helping students succeed. It does not take a minute or two to make sure a student understands what he/she is learning. Tutoring takes patience and I am all for it. Helping children has always been a priority of mine since elementary school. My brother and sister often needed my help and I will serve as a tutor to help them achieve. Additionally, I have worked as an after school teacher since freshmen year of high school.
