About Sofia
Hi! My name is Sofia, and while I love to travel, I most love working with students! Tutoring is most rewarding when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point!
I partner with students on a one-on-one basis in STEM subjects through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I graduated from Texas A&M University and have been tutoring with SoFlo for two years. Math and Science build on themselves, so our methodology is to identify gaps in a student’s knowledge of a subject and help to fill them in with our lessons! At SoFlo, we work to raise grades, strengthen understanding, and increase confidence.
