About Punita
I have been teaching and tutoring since 2008, since I was a high school student, well into college and up until I got into dental school. Now as a practicing dentist, I like to stay connected with students and provide them with insight they can use to excel in academics and entrance exams.
Having been through many years of schooling and grueling exams at every level, I am able to provide students with tips and insight in a unique way.
Connecting with students and seeing their progress is so rewarding!
I have taught at the collegiate level, at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, during my time there. I am now a practicing dentist in the Chicagoland area.

I like to review the student's goals to obtain a big picture, then from there focus on what the student's particular needs/areas of improvement are. Next, I like to determine how the student learns best and what types of techniques and learning styles will suit them best. Last, I make a clear schedule to hold the student accountable for his/her own progress.
