About Shanit
I am a recent graduate from University of Texas Austin, where I received my Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering. I have been teaching students since I was in high school at various levels. I have taught high school students looking to improve their SAT scores, college students as a teaching assistant for a Dynamics course, underpriviledged students in a volunteering capacity, overachieving elementary students looking for enrichment, and family and friends alike for general math teaching. It is important to me that my students feel challenged in their learning experience and are faced with having to discover solutions and logic on their own before my intervention. However, I understand that learning new or unfamiliar topics can be frustrating and I am able to be patient with students as they gradually understand topics fundamentally instead of algorithmically.
