About Ben
Hi! I'm Ben and I am currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering at Cornell University. I completed my undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley, where I received Bachelors degrees in both Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences as well as Mechanical Engineering. I have experience tutoring high school level math and SAT/ACT preparation, with students going on to matriculate at top colleges across the country. I also have experience teaching college-level physics, calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, and computer programming, as well as technical classes in my areas of expertise (circuits, microelectronics, signals, analog circuit design, power electronics, mechanical statics, and mechanical dynamics). I tailor my teaching style and session material to each of my student's needs, whether that means reviewing fundamentals, walking through tricky problems, or preparing for exams. I also create custom worksheets and find targeted problems to maximize learning. I really enjoy helping people achieve their academic goals while simultaneously gaining a deeper fundamental understanding of the material.
