About Robert
I am a student at University of California, Davis, studying Applied Statistics with a background in mathematics and economics. I have 2+ years of tutoring in computer science and mathematics, working with late high school and college students. I am comfortable tutoring all levels of high school math and some college level calculus, as well as any college level statistics course. I can also offer tutoring for coding in R or entry level Python.
I have plans to pursue my teaching credentials post-grad, teaching high school or middle school mathematics. I make sure to tailor the tutoring experience to my students and I focus much more on understanding broader concepts, rather than getting the correct answer. I want to help problem solve.
I also do not want to simply be a tutor for my students, but a mentor. If you would so like, I want help in other facets of their lives, as a guide through their education career.
