About Mark
Now in my junior year of obtaining a mechanical engineering degree at Mercer, I have taken the same tests students will take. I can help students with strategies that helped me understand and do well in classes. I have received accolades such as president's list and dean's list throughout my stay at Mercer and I believe these are achievable by anyone. If chosen, I will review the material and ensure that the student has the best chance of success going into a test.
I have a passion for the math that I use daily in engineering practices. Math is the key to understanding the world around us. Understanding math opens up the opportunity to learn more about engineering and science. Everyday, I learn about a real world connection to the math I learned previously. It's exciting and I would love to share that passion with a student.
I have worked with fellow classmates in the past. I tended to understand the material quicker than some. I would help those that were lacking the same proficiency. I have also worked with pre-med students struggling with math.
I have taken AP courses throughout high school, including Calc AB and BC. I am currently studying mechanical engineering at Mercer University. I am in my junior year. While studying, I have taken Calculus and other math-related courses further reinforcing my knowledge of these subjects.

To begin with, I will gauge students understanding with a few practice problems. I will have them explain their thought process going through the problem and make adjustments when necessary. Afterward, I will review the material missed and explain the theory behind it.
I have worked with primarily peers. However, I have worked with younger students and would enjoy working with younger students.
