About Deborah
I have been an engineer for 6 years and recently obtained my Master's in Mechanical Engineering. Numerous professors throughout my academic career can testify that I have a love for helping others understand the material. Whether it is the daunting subject of differential equations all the way to the basics of algebra, I can break down the information in a way that you will be able to retain it. I also tutor the following engineering subjects: fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, physics, and dynamics.
Bachelor and Master's in Mechanical Engineering as well as 7 years of experience as an engineer.

First is to assess the student's level of understanding of the subject by breaking the subject down to the fundamentals. Then, to obtain the sections that the upcoming quizzes/exams/assignment will encompass. Lastly, structuring the tutoring in such a way that the student will be able to sequentially understand the material and put the pieces together independently.

Debby has a solid understanding of math, and was able to break down concepts in more than one way. This was important, and gave her the flexibility to approach teaching in diverse ways. I felt she had the necessary patience needed to explore challenging concepts, and the motivation to keep me on track! I also appreciated her timely communication and flexibility that worked with my schedule.
Debby was super patient with me, as I need things repeated a few times before they finally stick. She tutored me through calculus and made it clear and easy to understand. We went over homework’s as well as exam prep. She was also really flexible working with my schedule. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a great math/calculus tutor!
