About Dhaval
I completed my undergraduate studies at UCLA with a major in Microbiology / Immunology. Now I am pursuing an MD/PhD degree at NYU School of Medicine.
While at UCLA, I tutored undergraduates in Biology through school sponsored tutoring program. Concurrently, I tutored high school students and undergraduates in Math. These experiences have solidified my experience and passion for allowing others to maximize their potential through being an attentive guide. One of my strengths in tutoring is to pare down complex concepts into easily understandable ideas. I stress understanding the concept over rote memorization because I believe that is how knowledge is retained.
I enjoy helping students become better equipped to handle their classwork, take exams, and master material. I also enjoy the challenge of individually tailoring how I tutor depending on my sutdent’s needs.
