About Carlos
I love learning new phrases and maxims that help motivate me when I am learning something new. Here are a few:

I am an experienced musician who has worked as a private guitar, piano and music theory instructor for the past 10 years.
I love playing music with friends and family to various types of music.
I have also taught all grade levels as a substitute teacher for the past 2 years and worked with middle school and high school students as a tutor in Math, English and Spanish as well as college preparation within the AVID curriculum.
I have a Bachelor's in Science in Computer Engineering and worked in the Information Technology field for five years.
I have visited many countries, including Spain, Canada, Kenya and Mexico.

I love creating a safe environment to share opinions, thoughts and feedback. I believe that any good teacher learns from their students and takes input and creates a welcoming atmosphere to spark interesting conversation. The teacher must become the student so that the student can become the teacher.
