About Sadie
I have over four years of experience tutoring students in math, science, and English. I have tutored elementary age through high school students in various levels of math and science. I am very familiar with virtual learning platforms such as Zoom and am also able to help students better navigate online learning, as I am currently participating in online learning myself. I am currently a Bioengineering student at San Diego State University and graduated from Rio Americano High School in Sacramento, California with High Honors and California Scholarship Certification.
I love helping children feel successful in school and feel good about what they're learning. Confidence leads to success and I strive to help kids feel more confident about the material.
I began tutoring students at my high school during my freshman year. In the beginning, I mostly was helping my friends and classmates in the classes they were struggling in. By my senior year, I was tutoring up to 30 hours per week with students ranging from first grade to seniors in high school. I had over 25 clients throughout my time in high school.
I graduated from high school in 2020 with High Honors and am now attended San Diego State University as a Bioengineering major and a Spanish minor.

When I meet new students, I typically like to spend the first session getting to know them and going over material and expectations. The first session will be 30 minutes and I do not charge for the first session. If the student and their family feels like it will be a good match, I will create an academic plan for how we will proceed with further tutoring sessions.
I have worked with students at all academic levels. A lot of high school students I worked with struggled with ADD or other learning challenges. I also have experience working with young kids who require engagement and various approaches to the material.

Depending on the level of academic assistance required, I charge between $20-$60 per hour. The more advanced the material, the higher the hourly rate will be.
