About Edward
Hello, my name is Edward Franklin. I am a student at the University of Hawaii and I tutor high school, middle school, and elementary school students. What makes my tutoring stand out is that I teach the students the why and how part of math to fully learn the process. A common problem that I have experienced in my years of learning is that a lot of teachers are teaching students to memorize the step by step process to solve math problems.The problem with this style of teaching is that students will forget how to do the step by step solution and end up performing poorly on tests and SATs. Math is like a language and knowing the why and how part will enable you to learn and members the material.
