About Trayona
Every child deserves a chance to learn and excel at learning. Desired Learning Tutoring Service allows students to freely express themselves, become actively involved in their academics, and explore creative capabilities. Ever since I can remember I have always loved the idea of learning and growing. Education is a vital role in our lives and I am completely dedicated to teaching.
I enjoy the happiness students exhibit when they fully understand how an answer came to be. I enjoy the connections I make with students, and the determined energy students bring to the tutoring sessions.
I have been a volunteer tutor at The Center for Empowerment and Employment Training for students and adults. I also have a Bachelors of Science degree, and several of the courses were Childhood Development and Adolescences Studies courses.

When working with a new student, I first observe their learning style. I study the student to see if they’re a visual, verbal, or auditory learner. Once I assess their learning style, I ask the student what is the most comfortable learning environment for them. From there, the student and I will actively work together to make lesson plans that will enhance their learning effectively.
