About Jenny
Hello, my name is Jenny Deng, and I am a junior at white plains high school. I am experienced in tutoring World History, Violin, and elementary math.
I have tutored students with a variety of different subjects such as world history, U.S history, and Math.
Last year, I took 9 AP that range from AP world history to AP Calculus BC and scored 4s and 5s on all of them. Because of this, I received the National AP scholar Award in 9th grade.
I have experience in tutoring world history, and I have tutored students in this subject before. I took AP World History and scored a 5 on the exam in ninth grade. Students can come to me with any specific questions, and I can help them with specific content, homework, essay writing, or tests. If students are beginners, I can also create a learning plan based on the world history curriculum that will help them learn all there is to know about world history so students will be well prepared.
I would love to help beginner students learn the violin. I have always had a passion for playing the violin and have had 11 years of playing experience. I have performed in countless orchestras such as GWYOA, Westchester all County, NYSSSA, and I hope next year to join New York all State Orchestra. I love playing the violin and would like to share my passion for music with other students. I am able to help students with any music that they may need assistance with, whether that is their own music or music from their school orchestra. If students don’t know where to start, I can see their skill level, and go from there, creating a learning plan based on their aptitude. I would love to help more students enjoy playing the violin and improve their abilities.
I can also tutor students in elementary math and algebra 1 and 2. I took AP calculus BC and the SAT math level 2 subject test, and I got an 800 (Full score). I would love to help students understand any math content they may need help with

I have tutored many students in the past in math and history. I am experienced in all of the subjects I tutor in. In world history, I got a 5 on test AP world history test. In math, I got a 800 on sat math 2 subject test and took AP calc BC, and in violin, I have scored a perfect score on nyssma and permormed in many orchestras.
