About Gianfranco

At Gianfranco Guerra's Piano Studio, learning the piano is an enjoyable experience. As you study diligently, your musical progress will show me how I should teach you.

You're the teacher, and I'm the student. It is my utmost pleasure in collaborating and teaching you the piano, which is a beautiful instrument to learn.

I started teaching piano on August 2015 through a friend of my father.

4/2011: FSMTA (Florida State Music Teachers Association)

6/2011: Inducted into the National Guild of Piano Teachers

12/2014: Graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from FAU (Florida Atlantic University)

I ask them to contact me telling me the best time I should contact them to introduce myself and set up a trial lesson. If they like me after the trial lessons, then we'll set up more piano lessons weekly.

My only student I have had so far was the student from the from the friend of my father. It was on and off teaching him, who was 6 years old. He was hyperactive, yet he was still a fun, and an attentive student to teach. He showed me how I should teach him; hence, he was the "teacher", whereas, I was the "student."

Teaching the piano, which is a beautiful instrument is also about expressing your personality. I also teach Music Theory, which is learning the importance of the theory behind a composer's musical work. In Ear Training, students learn how listen music effectively.

12/2014: Graduated from FAU (Florida Atlantic University) with my Bachelor of Arts degree in music.
