I'm freshly graduated for the IMEP Paris College Of Music (previously known as the American School Of Modern Music) where I learned Jazz, music theory, arrangement, composition and how to conduct an orchestra. I used to teach guitar and music reading and theory in France. I adapt to my students and give them the best advices and tips for the goals that they want to reach.
I aim to make the learning of music as fun as possible, engaging my students. I hope to pass my profound passion for music onto my students. I believe that a good music teacher (be it instrumental or theory-based) should not simply teach the instrument. A good music teacher should give their student the tools to be able to work independently, ensuring a secure musical future after tuition.

I don't follow any specific method for teaching the cello - I teach my students a good technique, solidifying it with a few exercises and scales, and then working through lots of great pieces! I leave it up to my students whether or not they want to work towards grades, or just play for fun.
I use various teaching methods, and always tailor my lessons to my student's needs and abilities. My teaching style is warm, friendly and open. I am as much about helping the student to find their confidence as I am about building strong technical foundations. If you want to study for grades, or just to improve your playing, I am more than happy to help.

Music Theory can be confusing and at times daunting. My teaching method is very straight forward. We will break down the papers into topics and create methods around which the questions can be solved. Music theory is all about problem solving and forming connections from topics to find solutions.
I am a very patient and understanding teacher. Learning music or an instrument is a skill that can be very rewarding but requires a lot of hard work. Having been through the process several times learning to sing, play guitar, flute and piano and also music theory, I understand the need for encouragement and patience above all. Like learning a new language, in music, repetition is important.

I'm a very practical teacher, and believe in learning theory through practice, following both Kodaly's and Orff's methods. I believe in teaching how to correct one's own mistakes, rather than just correcting the student, so they can keep improving on their own.
