About Steven
I have been oil painting my whole life, and would love to share my knowledge to help hone the skills of artists looking to improve theirs. I believe that technique, although important, is secondary to SEEING. I can help you see and deconstruct what you're looking at and help you transfer that to the canvas. I can help you set up your palette so you're more efficient with your use of paint, and help you achieve luminous skin tones and realistic effects. You can see my work at smportraits.com.
